REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN KANSAS

Overcast skies prevailed across western Kansas until late this
afternoon, when clearing began from west to east. A few flurries
were also present across portions of western Kansas during the
afternoon with little or no accumulation. High temperatures today
ranged from the mid teens in northeast Colorado and northwest
Kansas, to the upper 20s in southeast Kansas.
Upper level troughing from the upper Midwest southwest through
Colorado will move east across Kansas tomorrow, while surface high
pressure builds southeast across the central plains. Little active
weather is expected for the next 24 hours, with temperatures
remaining well below normal.
Low temperatures tonight will range from 5 to 10 degrees below zero
in northeast Colorado and northwest Kansas, to 10 to 15 degrees
above zero in southeast Kansas. Highs tomorrow will range from the
upper teens in northern Kansas, to the low 20s in southern Kansas
and northern Oklahoma.
