A COUPLE OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND EARLY THIS EVENING. THE FIRST STORM DEVELOPED SOUTH OF
JOHNSON IN STANTON COUNTY AND PRODUCED HALF DOLLAR SIZED HAIL
BEFORE IT MOVED INTO SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO. ANOTHER WEAKER STORM
DEVELOPED SOUTHEAST OF ASHLAND THIS EVENING AND WAS NEARLY
STATIONARY. EARLIER IN THE DAY SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS
WESTERN KANSAS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 80S TO MID
90S.

AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE FROM NORTHERN MEXICO AND TEXAS TO THE GREAT
BASIN AREA WILL MOVE EAST INTO THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS ON SUNDAY,
WHILE A SURFACE TROUGH IN THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES STRENGTHENS. MOST
OF THE REGION WILL BE DRY TONIGHT, HOWEVER ISOLATED TO WIDELY
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP LATER TONIGHT MAINLY FROM
NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA INTO CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS ON UP INTO
SOUTHERN NEBRASKA. WARMER TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED ON SUNDAY,
ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE WEST. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP
DURING THE MID AFTERNOON IN THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS, MAINLY IN THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE. WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP FROM
WESTERN KANSAS TO THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE DURING THE AFTERNOON.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 60S IN THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AND NORTHWESTERN NEBRASKA TO NEAR 75 FROM
WICHITA TO NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA. HIGHS SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE 90S,
WITH UPPER 90S FROM SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA SOUTHWARD TO THE
OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE.
