A COLD FRONT MOVED THROUGH MOST OF THE AREA THIS MORNING...BRINGING
A WIND SWITCH TO THE NORTHWEST AND FALLING TEMPERATURES WITH IT.
THESE GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE FOR MUCH OF THE DAY
TODAY...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND WEST OF THE RED RIVER VALLEY. SOME
BLOWING SNOW IS ALSO EXPECTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN RED RIVER VALLEY
INTO PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA. WITH THE FALLING
TEMPERATURES AND GUSTY WINDS...HAZARDOUS WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED LATER TONIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY. THE COLD LOOKS TO BE
SHORT LIVED THIS TIME...WITH A WARMING TREND STILL EXPECTED BY LATE
WEEK AND INTO NEXT WEEK AS WELL.
