Area Weather Outlook
National Weather Service Eastern ND/Grand Forks
1120 AM CDT Sun Aug 28 2016

Sunshine this morning will give way to the possibility of strong to
severe storms across the area late this afternoon and into the
evening. The best chances look to be across northwestern Minnesota
where large hail, strong winds, and an isolated tornado or two are
possible. High temperatures will top out around the 80 degree mark
east of the valley while rising into the mid to upper 80s for the
valley and westward.

The beginning of the work week will bring clearing skies from west
to east with highs ranging from the upper 70s to low 80s. A small
chance for a storms will persist across the far southeastern
forecast area while elsewhere should be dry.
