Periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected today
through Saturday as an upper-level low pressure system moves across
the Northern Rockies. Widespread and at times moderate to heavy
rainfall is possible tonight and Saturday. Total rainfall amounts
through Sunday morning of 1 to 2 inches are expected. Light snow
showers are also possible above 7000 feet in Glacier National Park
with less than one inch of snow accumulation. Temperatures will be
20 to 30 degrees below seasonal averages with highs in the 50s and
60s in the plains and valleys.
