SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED INTO THE PANHANDLE AND FAR
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA EARLY THIS MORNING...PRODUCING UP TO A TENTH OF
AN INCH OF RAIN. THESE SHOWERS MOVED NORTHEAST INTO THE WESTERN
SANDHILLS BY LATE MORNING. LOWS WERE GENERALLY IN THE LOWER TO MID
60S ACROSS WESTERN NEBRASKA.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE
EVENING. SOME STORMS MAY BE SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS...AND POSSIBLY A TORNADO. IN ADDITION...STORMS WILL BE
CAPABLE OF VERY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. HIGHS TODAY WILL
RANGE FROM THE LOWER 80S IN NORTHWEST NEBRASKA TO NEAR 90
SOUTHWEST WITH EAST WINDS AROUND 10 MILES PER HOUR.
