Weather Summary for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
409 AM CDT Fri May 26 2017

A ridge of high pressure will build over the Mid South today with
mainly rain free conditions expected across much of the area. Highs
will be in the middle to upper 80s into Saturday with lows in the
upper 60s to lower 70s.

An increase in showers and thunderstorms is expected for Saturday
night into Sunday as a cold front moves through the area. The best
chances for showers and thunderstorms will shift south across areas
south of I-40 on Memorial Day.

Lingering shower and thunderstorm chances are expected through much
of next week as the cold front returns back north as a warm front by
the middle of next week then gradually stalls out over the area.
