DURING THE PREDAWN HOURS SKIES WERE CLEAR ACROSS MINNESOTA EXCEPT
FOR THE FAR NORTHEAST ARROWHEAD. MORNING TEMPERATURES HAD DROPPED
BELOW ZERO AT MANY LOCATIONS BUT MOST NOTABLE WAS A -35 IN COTTON
LOCATED IN CENTRAL ST. LOUIS COUNTY. BY 1100AM CLOUDS HAD SPREAD
OVER THE STATE HELPING TEMPERATURES ABOVE ZERO. WINDS WERE CALM IN
MOST AREAS WITH ONLY LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS NOTED AT SOME
LOCATIONS.

CLOUDS WILL DECREASE LATER TODAY AFTER SOME LIGHT SNOW ACROSS THE
SOUTHWEST PART OF MINNESOTA WITH LITTLE ACCUMULATION EXPECTED.
LOOK FOR COLD TEMPERATURES THE NEXT TWO DAYS WITH HIGHS STAYING
IN THE SINGLE DIGITS AND LOWS WILL BE SOME OF THE COLDEST OF THE
SEASON THUS FAR. SNOW AND BLOWING WILL MOVE INTO THE STATE ON
SUNDAY WHEN HIGH TEMPERATURES CLIMB INTO THE TEENS AND LOW 20S.
