WARMER TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING ARE THE RESULT OF A WARM FRONT
LIFTING OVER THE REGION. WHILE LIGHT SNOW WAS COMMON ACROSS
MINNESOTA A FEW AREAS REPORTED FREEZING DRIZZLE. FREEZING DRIZZLE
WAS REPORTED IN DULUTH AND A FEW LOCATIONS WITHIN THE MINNESOTA
RIVER VALLEY NORTH AND WEST OF MANKATO. TEMPERATURES AT 1100 AM
RANGED FROM 7 DEGREES ALONG THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER ON LAKE OF
THE WOODS TO 25 DEGREES IN WINONA. OVERCAST SKIES WERE COMMON
STATEWIDE...THE EXCEPTION BEING THE FAR NORTHWEST CORNER OF
MINNESOTA WERE A FEW BREAKS WERE EVIDENT ON VISIBLE SATELLITE
IMAGERY.

LIGHT SNOW WILL LINGER ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION THIS
MORNING...TRANSITIONING TO A WINTRY MIX ACROSS CENTRAL MINNESOTA
THIS AFTERNOON AS THE FRONT REACHES NORTHERN MINNESOTA. HIGHS
TODAY WILL TOP OUT IN THE TEENS ALONG THE BORDERLAND...TO THE LOW
30S ACROSS SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA. SOUTH WINDS WILL ALLOW FOR NEAR
STEADY OR RISING TEMPERATURES OVERNIGHT. THE THREAT FOR A WINTRY
MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE BORDERLAND...AND
ACROSS THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD REGION SATURDAY...WHERE A LIGHT
GLAZING OF ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE.

TEMPERATURES WILL DROP SATURDAY EVENING AS A STRONG COLD FRONT
SWEEPS ACROSS THE REGION. STRONG NORTH WEST WINDS WILL USHER IN
MUCH COLD AIR. EXPECT HIGHS IN THE MIDDLE 20S NORTH TO LOWER 40S
ACROSS THE SOUTH. SUNDAYS TEMPERATURE STRUGGLE INTO THE TEENS
SOUTH AND REMAIN IN THE SINGLE DIGITS NORTH. MONDAY MORNING WILL
BE COLD AND CLEAR.  TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW WELL BELOW ZERO
ACROSS THE NORTH AND HOVER NEAR ZERO FOR MINNESOTA`S SOUTHERN TIER.
