A weak area of low pressure passes south today as high pressure
builds toward New England. Cloudy skies are expected today, along
with the chance for rain. Temperatures remain well above normal
today, 40s and 50s for highs.

By tonight, a significant coastal storm develops and approaches
the region from the southwest. This powerful storm slowly moves
toward the area Monday, and passes east later Tuesday. Impacts
from this storm will be strong winds, heavy rain, and minor to
moderate coastal flooding. There is also some potential for a
period of accumulating snow and sleet across the higher elevations
of interior sections. Temperatures will begin to fall tonight and
Monday, but remain above normal.
