The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
  South-central and Eastern Kentucky

* Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 330 PM until
  1000 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...Strong low-level/deep-layer shear and a moist environment
ahead of the remnants of Cindy will result in a potential for some
supercells capable of a tornado risk and damaging winds.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles
east and west of a line from 55 miles north of Jackson KY to 50
miles southwest of London KY. For a complete depiction of the watch

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
