...PATCHY DENSE FOG EARLY THIS MORNING...

LINGERING MOISTURE FROM RAINFALL TUESDAY EVENING COMBINED WITH
NEAR CALM WINDS OVERNIGHT HAS CAUSED PATCHY DENSE FOG OVER
PORTIONS OF EASTERN AND SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA AND COASTAL NORTHEAST
NORTH CAROLINA EARLY THIS MORNING. VISIBILITIES WILL BE RESTRICTED
TO 1/2 MILE OR LESS DUE TO THE FOG. THE FOG IS EXPECTED TO
DISSIPATE AFTER 8 AM THIS MORNING.

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITY DUE TO
THE PATCHY DENSE FOG. DRIVE AT REDUCED SPEEDS AND USE LOW BEAM
HEADLIGHTS ONLY. WATCH FOR CHILDREN AT SCHOOL BUS STOPS.
