Rio Grande City, Roma, McAllen, Edinburg, Pharr, Mission,
Weslaco, Raymondville, Brownsville, Harlingen, Port Mansfield,
Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Laguna Heights, and Laguna Vista

...Areas of Dense Fog affecting Portions of Deep South Texas and
the Rio Grande Valley...

At 630 am...Areas of locally dense fog persist across portions of
Rio Grande Valley and the Western and Northern Ranchlands.
Visibilities have been fluctuating between 1/4 and 1 mile
overnight and are expected to continue to be reduce through at
least 9 am. Locations in the vicinity of Harlingen and along I-69E
from Harlingen to Sarita will have the worse conditions.

Early morning motorists should prepare for reduced visibilities,
perhaps as low as one quarter of a mile with sudden visibility
reductions occurring over short distances. Be sure to use
caution, reduce speed and use low beam headlights if you plan to
travel through early Friday morning.
