.SYNOPSIS...THERE WILL BE MORE SUNSHINE ACROSS THE REGION TODAY AND
WITH A WEAK LOW LEVEL SOUTHERLY FLOW...HUMIDITY WILL BE RELATIVELY
HIGH...ADDING TO THE DISCOMFORT OF THE UPPER 80 TO LOWER 90 DEGREE
HEAT EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON. A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY
DEVELOP TODAY PROVIDING THE POSSIBILITY FOR A BRIEF PERIOD OF RELIEF
FROM THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY. HOWEVER...MUCH OF THIS DEVELOPMENT IS
EXPECTED TO BE OVER PARTS OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND THE
MOUNTAINS ALONG THE NORTH CAROLINA BORDER WITH LITTLE CHANCE OF RAIN
ACROSS THE GREAT VALLEY.
