FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.6 INCHES WAS CENTERED OFF THE NEW
ENGLAND COAST THIS EVENING...WITH WEAKER RIDGING EXTENDING WEST
THROUGH THE GREAT LAKES. AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE CAROLINA
COAST WILL DEEPEN TO 29.9 INCHES AS IT TRACKS NORTH THROUGH
THURSDAY...EFFECTIVELY PUSHING A PORTION OF THE NEW ENGLAND HIGH
PRESSURE BACK WEST ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN GREAT LAKES BY
FRIDAY. THIS HIGH WILL BE BUILD TO 30.3 INCHES AS IT REMAINS
CENTERED OVER THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS A
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.7 INCHES DEVELOPS OVER THE
WESTERN PLAINS. WITH LITTLE PROGRESSION TO THE SURFACE
PATTERN...WEAK AND GENERALLY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL PERSIST OVER
LAKE MICHIGAN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
