NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

   SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME COULD PRODUCE:
    HEAVY RAINFALL LEADING TO LOCALIZED FLOODING.
    WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
    HAIL TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS.
    FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AREA
  WIDE...POSSIBLY INCREASING IN COVERAGE TOWARDS DAYBREAK.

  DISCUSSION:

  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS COULD REDEVELOP LATE TONIGHT ALONG AND
  AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING FRONT ACROSS ALL AREAS IN NORTH CENTRAL
  AND NORTHEAST ILLINOIS...AND NORTHWEST INDIANA...ALTHOUGH
  CONFIDENCE ON THIS IS LOW. THE MAIN HAZARD FROM ANY STRONGER
  STORM WILL BE HEAVY RAINFALL...AS A VERY MOIST AIR MASS REMAINS
  IN PLACE.

AN AIR QUALITY ACTION DAY IS IN EFFECT FOR FAR NORTHWEST INDIANA
THROUGH THIS EVENING.

PATCHY DENSE FOG MAY DEVELOP TONIGHT.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. HEAVY
