High pressure centered over the region today will provide dry and
seasonably cool conditions. By Sunday, a weak upper level
disturbance will allow for light showers to overspread the area during
the afternoon and evening hours. Activity will move out after
midnight Monday morning as high pressure again briefly builds into
the area during the day. By Tuesday morning, a surface low
pressure system will migrate north from the Tennessee Valley,
allowing for increased rain chances in the Ohio Valley during the
day. Significantly colder air will spill into the area for the
second half of the workweek, with the potential for a few snow
showers on Thursday.
