  Southeastern Goochland County in central Virginia...
  Northwestern Henrico County in central Virginia...
  Southwestern Hanover County in central Virginia...
  East central Powhatan County in central Virginia...

* Until 915 PM EDT

* At 710 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. Rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches will
  fall in a short period of time.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Richmond, Ashland, Downtown Richmond, Bon Air, Virginia Union
  University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Tuckahoe, University
  Of Richmond, Mechanicsville, Highland Springs, Manakin, East
  Highland Park, Glen Allen, Laurel, Wyndham, Lakeside, Johnsons
  Springs, Elmont, Montrose and Richmond International.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
