This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A chance of thunderstorms exists Friday afternoon and evening
ahead of a cold front. This includes a slight risk of severe
storms, mainly over southwest Indiana and the Pennyrile of
western Kentucky. Damaging winds will be the primary severe
weather hazard, but large hail and isolated tornadoes will also
be potential hazards.

Fire danger is heightened across the southeast Missouri Ozarks Friday
and Saturday afternoons due to a combination of winds in the teens
mph with higher gusts into the 20s mph, dry fuels, and low
relative humidity values in the 30s percentile.


Spotter activation is possible Friday afternoon and evening.
