...HIGH WATER LEVELS CONTINUING ON THE SAGAVANIRKTOK RIVER INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK...

MUCH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE
CENTRAL AND EASTERN BROOKS RANGE AND ARCTIC SLOPE AT LEAST INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE MUCH ABOVE TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN
CONTINUED SNOW MELT IN THE BROOKS RANGE. THIS WILL RESULT SLOWLY
RISING WATERS LEVELS ON THE SAGAVANIRKTOK RIVER THROUGH EARLY NEXT
WEEK. THE RIVER AT PUMP STATION 3 IS CURRENTLY LESS THAN A FOOT
BELOW FLOOD STAGE AND IS EXPECTED TO RISE VERY SLOWLY THROUGH
MONDAY...AND COULD REACH FLOOD STAGE ON MONDAY. OTHER RIVERS
DRAINING NORTHWARD OUT OF THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN RANGE MAY
BE AT ABOVE NORMAL STAGES THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK.
