A STRONG COLD FRONT PASSING THROUGH THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL USHER IN
GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS TO END THE WEEKEND. SPEEDS WILL BE ON THE
INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY...WITH SPEEDS RANGING FROM 25 TO 35 MPH
THIS AFTERNOON...AND CONTINUING ON RIGHT THROUGH TONIGHT. GUSTS OF
45 TO 50 MPH ARE NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. THERE WILL BE THE
POTENTIAL FOR PATCHY BLOWING SNOW WITH THESE STRONG WINDS. PARTLY
CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED...WITH HIGHS FORECAST TO REACH THE MID 30S
TO LOWER 40S. A CHANCE FOR FLURRIES OR LIGHT SNOW WILL MOVE INTO
EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT. LITTLE TO NO
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED. AS WE GET INTO MONDAY...AT LEAST THE FIRST
HALF OF THE DAY WILL SEE CONTINUED WINDY CONDITIONS AND CHANCES FOR
FLURRIES. WIND SPEEDS WILL VERY GRADUALLY DIMINISH THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON HOURS...WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES TOPPING OUT IN THE LOWER TO
MID 30S.
