THE COLD FRONT THAT SWEPT THROUGH THE REGION LAST NIGHT HAS
INTRODUCED A FRESH...COOL AIR MASS. CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE WILL
BRIEFLY BUILD INTO THE REGION TODAY...WITH GRADUALLY CLEARING SKIES
THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES WILL BE SEVERAL DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR
LATE MAY...WITH HIGHS IN THE 60S TO AROUND 70. TEMPERATURES WILL
DROP WELL INTO THE 40S OVER THE REGION TONIGHT. TOMORROW...CLOUDS
WILL INCREASE...AND THERE COULD EVEN BE SOME SPRINKLES OVER PORTIONS
OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTH OF HIGHWAY 6...AS AN UPPER-LEVEL
DISTURBANCE PASSES BY TO THE NORTH. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL REBOUND INTO
THE 70S AS WINDS SHIFT TO THE SOUTHEAST. NEXT WEEK THE POTENTIAL
EXISTS FOR SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS JUST ABOUT EVERY DAY...MAINLY
DURING THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS.
