CLOUDY SKIES WERE PREVALENT OVER THE HIGH PLAINS THURSDAY MORNING.
AT 1 PM MDT (2 PM CDT) TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 71 DEGREES IN
FLAGLER COLORADO TO 77 DEGREES IN HILL CITY KANSAS. SOUTHEASTERLY
WINDS WERE PRIMARILY 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

OUTLOOK... RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE
TRI-STATE AREA THURSDAY AFTERNOON. SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL
CONTINUE OVER THE REGION INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS ON
FRIDAY...MOVING EAST OUT OF THE REGION. SOME STORMS MAY BE SEVERE
WITH POSSIBLE HEAVY RAINFALL. TEMPERATURES THURSDAY EVENING WILL
BE IN THE HIGH 40S TO HIGH 50S. WITH AN APPROACHING COLD
FRONT TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY WILL BE IN THE HIGH 60S TO HIGH 70S.
CHANCES FOR RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE MID
MORNING FRIDAY...STARTING TO MOVING INTO THE REGION FROM THE
NORTHWEST.
