Thunderstorms moved across the region overnight with some severe
storms observed. Temperatures fell into the lower 60s.

OUTLOOK... Mostly sunny skies will prevail through much of the day
across the central High Plains with high temperatures climbing
into the upper 80s to lower 90s. Thunderstorm chances increase as
the afternoon progresses with the best chances of thunderstorms
occurring late in the afternoon and into the evening hours. Some
storms could become severe and produce large hail and damaging
wind gusts. Strong to severe thunderstorms could persist into the
overnight hours. Showers and thunderstorms will wind down Friday
morning as much cooler air works into the region. Look for highs
to reach the upper 70s to lower 80s on Friday with skies becoming
mostly sunny.
