Regional Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
420 PM MST SAT DEC 10 2016

The shortwave trough that brought clouds and areas of light snow to
our area earlier today is exiting into eastern Montana and the
Dakotas. Drier air behind the the trough will bring clearing skies
for a few hours this evening, but mid and high level clouds will
return early Sunday morning as a second shortwave, currently near
Seattle, moves into western Montana. This will bring another round
of light snow to the Rocky Mountain Front and some of the southwest
mountain ranges, while remainder of the forecast area stays dry.
Westerly flow aloft will moderate overnight temperatures slightly,
with lows in the teens expected Lincoln and Helena south to Bozeman
and Dillon, while the central and hiline counties will be few
degrees above and below zero.
