The day started out with a few showers and thunderstorms over
northeast Kansas. Otherwise, mostly sunny skies prevailed across
the state, with mid to late afternoon temperatures mostly in the
80s.

A few hit-or-miss thunderstorms are possible across the region
this evening and overnight. An isolated strong to severe storm
cannot be ruled out, along with pockets of locally heavy rain.
Forecast low temperatures are in the 60s to low 70s.

Chances for hit-or-miss thunderstorms will continue Sunday
afternoon and evening. Near normal temperatures in the 80s to low
90s are expected, with continued muggy conditions.
