WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY
SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
353 PM EST THU FEB 26 2015

AS ANY REMAINING SNOW FLURRIES CONTINUE TO DEPART THE AREA EARLY
THIS EVENING...SKIES WILL REMAIN CLOUDY OVERNIGHT TONIGHT WITH LOWS
FALLING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS ACROSS EXTREME NORTHERN SECTIONS OF
THE AREA AND INTO THE MID TEENS ELSEWHERE.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE BUILDING INTO THE REGION ON FRIDAY...BUT THERE
STILL COULD BE A FEW SNOW SHOWERS OR FLURRIES. MOST OF THE DAY WILL
BE DRY HOWEVER. SKIES WILL CLEAR FRIDAY NIGHT AND REMAIN CLEAR ON
SATURDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD IN. TEMPERATURES WILL
REMAIN BELOW NORMAL BOTH DAYS...WITH HIGHS IN THE MID 20S. LOWS WILL
DIP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS IN MANY AREAS AGAIN ON FRIDAY NIGHT WITH
THE EXCEPTION OF THE IMMEDIATE NEW YORK CITY SUBURBS...WHERE
TEMPERATURES ARE ONLY EXPECTED TO DROP INTO THE LOW TEENS.

CLOUDS INCREASE AGAIN ON SUNDAY AS TEMPERATURES WARM TO NEAR
FREEZING AHEAD OF THE NEXT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHING THE AREA
FROM THE WEST. THIS SYSTEM BRINGS WITH IT THE POTENTIAL FOR ANOTHER
ROUND OF SNOW...AND POSSIBLY MIXED PRECIPITATION...FROM SUNDAY
AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY MORNING.
