Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
346 PM EST Mon Feb 20 2017

Dry conditions will persist through Tuesday as high pressure
builds into the area tonight, and moves over the region on
Tuesday. Temperatures will be cooler, but still slightly above
normal for this time of year. Lows tonight will range from the
lower 20s in the normally colder spots, to the lower to middle
30s in the New York City metro area. Highs on Tuesday will be in
the middle to upper 40s. Clouds will slowly increase through the
day on Tuesday.

High pressure pushes off the New England coast Tuesday afternoon,
allowing a warm front to approach and move through the region.
This will give the area a chance for some light rain, mainly
across the Lower Hudson Valley. Temperatures will then be well
above normal through the middle of the week.
