...Pockets of dense fog for early morning drivers in the Mid and
Upper Valley...

Calm winds, saturated surface air, and warm and humid air just
above the surface have combined to drop visibility to one quarter
mile in parts of Hidalgo, Starr, Brooks, and Jim Hogg County.
Persons venturing out to church or other locations through 9 AM
should be prepared for visibility as low as near zero in a few fog
prone areas. Slow down, use low beam headlights and leave plenty
of room between yours and vehicles around you.

Should conditions persist or expand, a Dense Fog Advisory may be
issued.
