...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       possible in the surf zone. Remember to swim near
                       a lifeguard and with a non-inflatable flotation
                       device, such as a life jacket or boogie board.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     High. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses,
                       and use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. Seek
                       shade during the midday hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

Weather:               Partly Cloudy.

Temperatures:          Middle 80s.

Wind:                  Southeast 10 to 15 mph.

Wave Heights:          2 to 4 feet.

Surf Temperature:      79 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       78 degrees.

Tides:                 A low at 9 40 am. A high at 5 42 pm.

Outlook:               An elevated risk for rip currents is
                       possible on Saturday and from Monday
                       through Wednesday due to higher seas
                       from stronger winds. Expect the area
                       high temperatures to continue in the
                       low to middle 80s through Tuesday of
                       next week. Isolated to scattered rain
                       showers along with thunderstorms will
                       remain possible through the weekend.
