.DISCUSSION...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MISSOURI AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS TODAY AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS
NORTHWARD. THIS FRONT WILL BRING A RETURN OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY
FOR A GOOD PART OF THE WEEKEND. THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL RAMP UP LATE SATUDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY
NIGHT AS A COLD FRONT SLOWLY MOVES INTO THE AREA. THE FRONT WILL
EXIT THE REGION ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON BRINGING COOLER AND DRIER AIR
AND A PROLONGED PERIOD OF BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES FOR NEXT WEEK.
