.TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...A DYNAMIC MONSOONAL TROUGH OVER THE
SAMOAN ISLANDS WILL USHER WET SPELL AND GUSTY WINDS THROUGH SUNDAY
NIGHT. A STRONG SURFACE RIDGE TO THE NORTHEAST OF THE REGION WILL
CONTINUE TO THRUST THE MONSOONAL TROUGH SOUTHWESTWARD THUS ALLOWING
SCATTERED TO FREQUENT SHOWERS TO DRENCH THE AREA. SQUALL LINES ARE
POSSIBLE OVER THE REGION AS STRONG CLOUDS AND ISOLATED TSTMS PUSH
FORWARD ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. HENCE...STRONG GUSTY
WINDS WILL WHISK ACROSS THE FCST ZONES AS THE MONSOON TROUGH DESCENDS
THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.

.LONG TERM...
.MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...A SURFACE RIDGE FROM THE NORTH WILL FORCE
THE MONSOONAL TROUGH AXIS SOUTHWESTWARD OF THE REGION THROUGH TUESDAY.
IF MODELS ARE CORRECT...ONLY ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED
DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
