Middle Tanana Valley-
Including Fairbanks, Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Ester,
North Pole, Moose Creek, Two Rivers, Fox, Chatanika,
Chena Hot Springs, and Sourdough Camp

A thunderstorm moving northeast over the east side of Fairbanks
continues to move to the north and east and will move over Birch
Hill and Fox over the next half hour. Expect brief heavy rain, and
hail up to one quarter inch hail in diameter. Reports from the
public indicate the hail is covering the ground in these locations.
The storm will weaken as it moves northeast over the hills.

Numerous rain showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to
move northeast over the Middle Tanana Valley this evening. These
storms may produce small hail, gusty winds and heavy downpours.
