Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Skies were mostly clear across much of the region during the
evening and early morning, although more cloud cover was present
over parts of Minnesota into northern Wisconsin. Temperatures
early this morning were in the teens to mid 20s over the area.

Another dry day is on tap with most areas expected to see plenty
of sunshine. Southerly breezes will help temperatures climb into
the 40s over most of the area, although areas with more snow cover
may remain slightly cooler.

Clouds will increase late today and tonight with increasing
chances for mainly light rain tonight into Tuesday. A mild night
is expected tonight with lows in the 30s, while temperatures on
Tuesday will climb into the 40s and 50s. An unsettled weather
pattern will continue into mid-week, with temperatures cooling
back down to near seasonal averages during the latter half of the
