Area Weather Outlook
National Weather Service Eastern ND/Grand Forks
1123 AM CDT Thu Sep 21 2017

Warm, breezy, and mostly sunny conditions are expected this
afternoon with the exception of a few lingering clouds in the
northern Devils Lake Basin through early afternoon. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms build in northwestern Minnesota late this
evening through the overnight ending towards Friday mid morning.
Some hail may be possible within stronger storms. Another breezy day
is expected Friday with warm temperatures reaching into the mid 80s
in northwestern Minnesota, although cooler temperatures are expected
in eastern North Dakota with highs in the 60s. This is due to a cold
front passing through the area. This front will enhance the chance
for showers and thunderstorms later in the day, especially in
southeastern North Dakota, northwestern Minnesota. Some storms could
be strong to severe in this area towards late afternoon into Friday
evening. Rain chances continue Saturday particularly later in the
day within central and west-central Minnesota with cooler
temperatures expected, highs only reaching into the 50s.
