Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Mostly clear skies were observed over the Tri-State Region early
this afternoon. At 1 pm MDT (2 pm CDT), winds were out of the north
at 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Temperatures were observed
ranging from 65 degrees in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado to 75 degrees in
Gove, Kansas.

OUTLOOK... Expect highs in the mid 60s to low 70s this afternoon
under sunny skies along with breezy north winds up to 30 mph.
Temperatures dip into the low 30s to low 40s across the region
overnight under mostly clear skies. Possible patchy frost may
develop after midnight into early Monday morning for locations along
and west of Highway 27 and along the Republican River Valley in
southwest Nebraska.

Dry conditions continues through mid week as temperatures steadily
climb back into the low 80s by Tuesday.
