Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Overnight, most of the Central High Plains saw more showers and storms.
Impressive rainfall amounts were being reported across the
region. Goodland, Kansas set a record daily rainfall amount for
September 24th picking up 1.47 inches yesterday.



OUTLOOK... For today, showers and thunderstorms are likely across
the Central High Plains again. Some areas could pickup and
additional 0.25 to 0.5 inches of rain. Rain chances will diminish
west to east as we go through the night. Highs today will range
from the low to upper 50s. Lows tonight will be in the upper 30s
to mid 40s. Looking ahead to tomorrow, conditions will be dry with
high temperatures mainly in the 60s.
