Skies were sunny across the tri-state region early this afternoon.
South winds were observed at 10 to 20 mph. At 1 PM MDT (2 PM CDT)
temperatures ranged from 81 degrees in Oakley, Kansas to 90
degrees in McCook, Nebraska.

OUTLOOK... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are forecast to
move west to east across the region late this afternoon through
the overnight hours. Severe storms are possible with large hail
and damaging winds as the main threats. Temperatures fall into the
60s under mostly cloudy skies.

Expect highs in the low 90s on Wednesday along with mostly sunny
skies. Thunderstorm chances return to the region in the afternoon
and persist through the overnight hours. Some storms could become
severe. Low temperatures will be in the 60s once again.
