Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to
affect the Mid South through at least early evening.
The rain is over Arkansas and will move into West
Tennessee and North Mississippi. Some storms may produce
gusty winds and heavy rainfall. The main problems will
likely be periods of heavy rain which may cause some flooding.

The weather pattern will remain favorable for scattered showers
and thunderstorms through the weekend into early next week. This
will keep temperatures slightly below normal, with afternoon
temperatures around 90 degrees and overnight lows in the low to
mid 70s.
