Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
350 PM EDT Wed Mar 29 2017

High pressure will remain in control through the first half of the
day on Thursday before low pressure approaches Thursday night.
Under clear skies, temperatures will fall into the mid to upper
30s tonight, with upper 20s across typically cooler outlying
areas.

After a sunny morning, clouds will begin to increase Thursday
afternoon as an area of low pressure approaches from the west.
Rain will overspread the area overnight Thursday into early Friday
morning and continue throughout the day on Friday. Some of this
rain may briefly mix with snow well north of New York City early
Friday morning, but no accumulation is expected. Highs during
this period will generally be in the 40s to around 50, slightly
below normal for the end of March.

The rain will end from west to east Saturday morning as the low
moves offshore.
