Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
348 PM EDT Tue Jul 25 2017

Clouds will slowly diminish tonight as high pressure builds over
the area. This will provide dry conditions. Northeast winds will
continue the cooler than normal temperatures for this time of
year, with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s for much of the
region. Lows in the middle 60s are expected in the New York City
metro area.

The high slowly moves east over the region on Wednesday, pushing
offshore Wednesday night. With more in the way of sun, Wednesday
will be warmer than what we have been experiencing lately. Highs
should top out in the middle to upper 70, which is still 5 to 10
degrees below normal for this time of year.

Conditions continue to warm later in the week as southerly winds
bring in temperatures that are more normal for this time of year,
with humidity levels also on the rise.
