Backcountry Forecast for western Montana and north central Idaho
National Weather Service Missoula MT
421 AM MST FRI JAN 30 2015

DISCUSSION: A ridge of high pressure will be the dominant feature
over the Northern Rockies today. A weak arctic will graze the
region on Saturday causing cooler air to spill into the region.
Precipitation will mainly be confined to the the continental
divide, especially Glacier National Park on Saturday. The upper
level flow will become more westerly by Sunday into early next
week which will allow moisture to stream into the area.
