...HEAVY RAINFALL SOUTH OF I-70 TONIGHT...

LOW PRESSURE OVER OKLAHOMA WILL TRACK NORTHEASTWARD INTO THE OHIO
RIVER VALLEY BY THURSDAY MORNING. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
DEVELOP IN ADVANCE OF THIS SYSTEM TONIGHT...WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN
OCCURRING BETWEEN I-70 AND THE OHIO RIVER. TOTAL RAINFALL ACROSS
THIS AREA WILL RANGE FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THE EXPECTED HEAVY RAINFALL ON TOP OF ALREADY
SATURATED SOIL CONDITIONS MAY LEAD TO RENEWED FLOODING OF MANY
AREA CREEKS AND STREAMS. IN ADDITION...HIGH RAINFALL RATES
ASSOCIATED WITH THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALIZED FLASH
FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. PLEASE KEEP ABREAST
OF LATER FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS FOR UPDATES ON THIS POTENTIAL
FLOODING SITUATION.
