...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT LESLIE...CENTRAL PERRY AND EAST
CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bobs Fork, or near Hyden, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hazard, Hyden, Big Fork, Hoskinston, Essie, Cinda, Dryhill, Viper,
Shoal, Smilax, Daley, Kaliopi, Marcum, Bobs Fork, Creekville,
Confluence, Mosley Bend, Thousandsticks, Buckhorn Lake S.P., and
Cutshin.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 34 and 59.
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Perry County between mile markers 9 and 15.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
