...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate Risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       possible in the surf zone. Remember to swim near
                       a lifeguard and with a non-inflatable flotation
                       device, such as a life jacket or boogie board.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     Moderate. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses,
                       and use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. Seek shade
                       during the midday hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

Weather:               Mostly Cloudy with isolated showers. Chance of
                       rain 20 percent.

Temperatures:          Lower 70s.

Wind:                  East 7 to 12 mph.

Wave Heights:          2 to 4 feet.

Surf Temperature:      75 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       73 degrees.

Tides:                 A low at 9 19 am. A high at 6 51 pm.

Outlook:               An elevated risk for rip currents will
                       once again develop from Wednesday into
                       Thursday in wake of the passage of the
                       next cold front. High temperatures are
                       expected to remain mild with values in
                       the low to upper 70s into the upcoming
                       Thanksgiving weekend. Rain chances are
                       expected late Tuesday and Wednesday as
                       the cold front moves through the area.
