Including the cities of Friona, Bovina, Farwell, Dimmitt, Hart,
Tulia, Silverton, Quitaque, Memphis, Childress, Muleshoe,
Littlefield, Olton, Plainview, Cedar Hill, Matador,
Roaring Springs, Paducah, Hackberry, Morton, Levelland, Lubbock,
Ralls, Crosbyton, Lorenzo, Spur, Dickens, Dumont, Finney, Grow,
Guthrie, Denver City, Plains, Brownfield, Tahoka, ODonnell,
Graham, Post, Jayton, and Aspermont

Areas of rain will continue across the South Plains and northern
Rolling Plains through this afternoon. Much of the rain will be
light and will only result in a trace of precipitation, but a few
stronger showers will be capable of producing up to an additional
one to two tenths of rain. The heavier showers will move across
Northfield, Turkey, and Cee Vee through noon. Light precipitation
will also move across the city of Lubbock which will be enough to
make pavement wet with little accumulation. Lastly, wind speeds
will increase out of the north into the 20 to 30 MPH range as
a cold front pushes south across the area.
