.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND
CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING. WHILE WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED...GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ACCOMPANY SOME OF THE
STORMS. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF SOME OF THE STORMS...LOCALIZED
FLASH FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO BE ONGOING
ACROSS MISSOURI EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY COULD
AFFECT PARTS OF NORTHERN ARKANSAS ON TUESDAY.

FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD...HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BUILD
OVER THE MID SOUTH...WITH HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS EXPECTED. AFTERNOON
HEAT INDICES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 104 DEGREES EACH AFTERNOON.
