The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Covington County in south central Alabama...
  Eastern Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...

* Until 1145 PM CDT

* At 1057 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 8 miles southwest of Laurel Hill, to 6 miles
  northeast of Crestview, to 13 miles northwest of Eglin Air Force
  Base, to 7 miles northwest of Valparaiso, to near Eglin AFB,
  moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wright, Crestview, Niceville, Eglin AFB, Valparaiso, Florala, Ocean
  City, Laurel Hill and Lockhart.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
