LATE THIS MORNING SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MOVED EASTWARDS
OVER NORTHWESTERN AND CENTRAL MINNESOTA. SKIES WERE CLOUDY ACROSS
NORTHERN MINNESOTA...HOWEVER IN SOUTHWESTERN MINNESOTA SKIES CLEARED
AS DRIER AIR WORKED ITS WAY IN. LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED
FROM THE MID 50S TO LOW 60S CLOSE TO THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER.
ELSEWHERE TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 60S IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA
TO NEAR 80 IN SOUTHWESTERN MINNESOTA.

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE INTO THE STATE TODAY. THIS
WILL BRING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME STORMS MAY PRODUCE
LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS AT TIMES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO
UPPER 60S ACROSS THE ARROWHEAD AND THE LOW 70S TO LOW 80S FROM
NORTHERN TO SOUTHERN MINNESOTA. TONIGHT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL PERSIST STATEWIDE. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL DIP INTO THE MID TO
UPPER 50S IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA AND THE LOW TO MID 60S IN CENTRAL
AND SOUTHERN MINNESOTA.

SOME SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY MAY LINGER AROUND ON
TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE EASTERN HALF OF THE STATE. FOR THE
MIDDLE OF THE WEEK HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN BRINGING DRIER
WEATHER...HOWEVER LATE IN THE WEEK AND HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND
UNSETTLED WEATHER RETURNS AS AN ACTIVE PATTERN SETS UP.
