WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN
433 AM CDT WED JUL 20 2016

Excessive Heat Warnings, Heat Advisories, and Excessive Heat Watches
all are in effect across parts of the state. The excessive heat and
humidity arrive today as heat index values will soar above 100
degrees across much of the state, slightly lower values across
northeastern Minnesota. Clouds and precipitation across much of the
state will evacuate the area by this afternoon, allowing full sun to
only make it feel hotter outdoors. Overnight lows will be very warm
tonight, and another hot and humid day is expected for Thursday.
Stay hydrated and seek air conditioned spaces if possible.

Friday will bring a slight cool down from the extreme heat, before a
cold front this weekend moves through with the potential for showers
and thunderstorms.
