The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Limestone County in north central Alabama...
  Southeastern Colbert County in northwestern Alabama...
  Franklin County in northwestern Alabama...
  Northwestern Morgan County in north central Alabama...
  Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama...

* Until 845 PM CDT Friday

* At 243 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across portions of North Central and Northwestern
  Alabama. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen in a short
  period of time, with an additional half an inch to an inch of rain
  possible through 315 PM CDT. This warning includes areas East of
  the original Flash Flood Warning issues earlier, as well as areas
  to the South and to the East into portions of Limestone and
  Lawrence Counties.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Decatur, Athens, Russellville, Tuscumbia, Moulton, Trinity,
  Ardmore, Town Creek, Littleville and Leighton.


Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
