  Columbia River at Vancouver affecting Multnomah and Clark Counties
  Columbia River at Longview affecting Columbia and Cowlitz Counties

.This is an update for Columbia River at Longview.

River forecasts are based on observed and forecast rainfall and
temperatures, and they include current and planned reservoir
releases.

For the latest river stages and forecasts, visit
weather.gov/portland.

The next update for these locations will be issued by 4 PM Thursday.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Columbia River at Vancouver.
* At 5 PM Wednesday the stage was...17.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...This river will range from 17.2 to 17.8 ft through
  Friday and remain above flood stage for at least the next
  several days.
* Impact...Above 17 feet, expect flooding of some lowland access
  roads, parking areas, and trails on Sauvie Island, around Vancouver
  Lake, and other parks and trails along the Columbia in the Portland
  and Vancouver metro area. Access to some house-boat communities is
  impaired.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Columbia River at Longview.
* At 5 PM Wednesday the stage was...13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...This river is expected to crest at 13.6 ft around 7 PM
  Wednesday with the evening high tide and fall below flood stage by 9 PM.
  This river also will rise above flood stage during high tide and peak
  between 13.6 and 14.0 feet each morning through at least Saturday.
* Impact...Above 14.0 ft, expect flooding of farmland and property not
  protected by levees to begin in and near Longview, Kalama, and
  Woodland.
