Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
430 AM EDT Tue Jul 15 2025

.Discussion...
An area of low pressure just east of the Space Coast of Florida
this morning continues to look better organized. The Keys remain
on the southern flank of this system with weak flow. Therefore,
light to gentle mainly south breezes are expected to continue
today before becoming more southeasterly heading into tonight and
continuing into Wednesday. Well above normal rain chances are
expected through Wednesday along the Island Chain. Min RH values
are expected to be in the upper 60s percent today and Wednesday
with good RH recovery to the lower 90s percent overnight. A more
typical summertime pattern is expected to return beginning
Wednesday night continuing into the weekend.
