.DISCUSSION...

Late tonight an increasing cloud trend will take hold. Stratus/low
clouds are looking more likely with these clouds expected to
increase across western NE through the small hours -- working into
the location by the early morning. Meanwhile, patchy fog is
looking more probable in the early morning and at/near sunrise.

Current thinking is these clouds and fog will begin to mix
out/decrease in coverage beginning mid morning with breaks in
clouds occurring. Fog shouldn`t be an issue with patchy fog that
occurs expected to dissipate by 9-10 AM MDT. At this time,
scattered to broken skies are expected approaching the time of the
eclipse and when it occurs. Thus it is anticipated that travelers
and eclipse watchers in the area may be chasing openings leading up
to the eclipse to get in position. Rest of the day, partly sunny
skies are expected. Best chances for precip are mid afternoon on -
most confident in precipitation occurring after 4 PM.
