During the next 24 hours, ending at 7:00 AM CDT Sunday, the weather
pattern is expected to stay active over much of the Missouri Basin.
Scattered light to moderate rain should be widespread, with heaviest
amounts primarily in the eastern half. Thunderstorms are forecast
for Iowa, and may extend through South Dakota into North Dakota.
Montana is also expecting thunderstorms in the eastern portion of the
state, which may become severe and bring very heavy rain and hail.

Due to the heavy precipitation overnight, many rivers in central
Nebraska and Iowa are experiencing significant rises.

The following locations are currently in flood:
Pipestem Creek near Pingree, ND
Blackwater River near Blue Lick, MO

Longer term flooding is expected on the James River in South Dakota
near Columbia, Stratford, and Ashton.
