This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York and
northeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

...Severe thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening...

Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening ahead of a
cold front. A significant severe weather event is likely with
this activity. The primary threat from these storms will be damaging
winds although large hail and an isolated tornado is also possible.
Heavy rain may also occur which could cause urban and poor drainage
flooding along with isolated flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.


Spotter activation will likely be needed this afternoon and evening.
