.NOW...Scattered showers will continue across Mainland Monroe and
Miami-Dade counties as well as the local Atlantic waters through
the remainder of the afternoon hours. Additional showers may also
develop into coastal Broward county as winds become more
northeasterly. These slow moving showers will produce locally
heavy rainfall as they move off to the northeast. While not
immediately likely, a lightning strike or two can not be ruled
out.

Another frontal boundary moving into the Lake Okeechobee region
may bring occasional light showers to Glades and Palm Beach
Counties.
