An area of light to moderate rain will move over the Junkins and
Beulah Hills burn scars through 7 pm. Rainfall rates should remain
less than 0.5 inches per hour as the rain moves over the scars.
Rainfall totals of 0.3 to 0.5 inches are possible. The amount of
rain that falls will also depend on the rain-snow line, which as
been around 8500 feet this afternoon. The snow level will fall
throughout the evening to around 6000 feet after midnight. Flash
flooding is not anticipated at this time, however, stream flows
may increase and debris may start moving down the mountains. If
flooding is seen, please report it to local law enforcement and
the National Weather Service in Pueblo.
