FLURRIES WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT AS A WEAK DISTURBANCE MOVES THROUGH.
THE BEST CHANCE FOR ANY PRECIPITATION WILL BE SOUTHEAST CT AND THE
TWIN FORKS OF LONG ISLAND. PORTIONS OF THE TRI-STATE COULD SEE PLAIN
SPRINKLES...MAINLY ACROSS NYC AND THE TWIN FORKS OF LONG ISLAND. DRY
CONDITIONS RETURN LATE TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE
LOWER 20S INLAND TO THE LOWER 30S ALONG THE COAST.

MONDAY WILL BE DRY IN THE MORNING UNDER MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES. THE
CHANCES FOR PRECIPITATION WILL INCREASE DURING THE AFTERNOON AS THE
HIGH PUSHES OFF THE COAST OF THE CANADIAN MARITIMES AND A WEAK AREA
OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST APPROACHES. EASTERLY FLOW
OFF THE RELATIVELY WARM OCEAN WATERS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO WARM
INTO THE MIDDLE 30S TO MIDDLE 40S. WITH TEMPERATURES ABOVE
FREEZING...ANY PRECIPITATION WILL FALL AS PLAIN RAIN ACROSS THE
ENTIRE AREA.

THE AREA CONTINUES TO WARM INTO CHRISTMAS EVE...WITH MODERATE TO
HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE ON CHRISTMAS EVE DUE TO AN APPROACHING COLD
FRONT. THE COLD FRONT WILL PUSH OFF SHORE EARLY ON
CHRISTMAS...PUTTING AN END TO THE RAIN. HOWEVER...WINDY CONDITIONS
ARE EXPECTED CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHT INTO CHRISTMAS DAY.
