Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
411 AM CDT Thu Mar 28 2024 /311 AM MDT Thu Mar 28 2024/

Sunny skies and dry conditions will continue for another day across
the listening area. Temperatures will be warmer as well, but still
fall short of normal for late March. Southeast winds will increase
across central South Dakota this afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph. A
disturbance moving into the region tonight into Friday will deliver
a chance for rain and freezing rain to portions of the area. That
system will move out of the area by Friday night and be quickly
followed by another system that will bring in a chance for rain and
snow this weekend.

Highs today will range from the 30s to near 40 degrees from the James
Valley and points east. Farther west, afternoon readings will warm
into the mid 30s to mid 40s. Lows tonight will fall back into the
upper teens to mid 20s. Highs on Friday will climb back into the 30s
and 40s.
